Who We Are
We are a grassroots organization that has been serving Saginaw County youth since 1966. With a four-person staff and a team of about 150 active volunteers, we strive to improve lives through literacy.
What We Do
READ offers a variety of free programs focused on youth literacy. From mentoring in schools, to intensive tutoring at our Family Literacy Center, to family-based programs, we hope to improve the reading skills of children throughout Saginaw County and help them discover the joy of reading.
