Encouraging Michigan Volunteers to Support Summer Volunteering
Summer in Michigan is marked by long days, sunshine, and summer events that bring communities together. That sense of community couldn't happen without volunteers of all ages. June, July and August highlights will include special events designed to bring us together as a community.
Along with staff, volunteers will hand-pull garlic mustard and other invasive species to help keep them at bay.
Please dress for the weather and wear outdoor clothes that can get muddy. Boots or old sneakers are recommended. Volunteer vests and gloves will be provided. Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
