Role Description:
As a Social Media Manager for Majestic Roots, you will play a crucial role in expanding our reach and impact by harnessing the power of social media platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement engaging social media strategies that effectively communicate our mission, values, and initiatives to a broad audience. By creating compelling content, managing our social media accounts, and engaging with our online community, you will help raise awareness, drive engagement, and cultivate a vibrant online presence for Majestic Roots.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the organization's goals and values
- Create and curate engaging content, including posts, images, videos, and infographics, for various social media platforms (such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn)
- Manage and maintain our social media accounts, ensuring consistency in messaging, branding, and voice
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across platforms in a timely and professional manner
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms, and propose innovative ideas to enhance our online presence
- Collaborate with the communications team to align social media efforts with broader marketing and communication initiatives
- Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and influencer outreach to expand our online community and reach new audiences
Requirements:
- Passion for environmental conservation and sustainable living
- Proven experience managing social media platforms and developing successful social media strategies (prior experience with nonprofit organizations is a plus)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content tailored to different audiences
- Proficiency in using social media management tools and analytics platforms
- Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box to generate compelling content ideas
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment
