Join us for the CAN Council’s Dine & Unwind fundraiser on September 29nd from 5:30-9:00 PM, with volunteer check-in between 4:00 & 4:30 PM. We need YOU to help make this event a success and raise funds to help protect our children in Bay County.
Here are the various volunteer roles for the event:
- Wine/Brew Pourer: You will be placed at a table to pour wine or craft beer from one of our vendor’s tables. At each table, there will be a wine or brew expert to talk with you and guests about their specific wine or brew.
- Food Server: You will be placed at a table to serve autumn-inspired food dishes from one of our seven local restaurant vendor tables.
- Event Check In/Check Out: You will work in a team to greet guests, check to ensure guests are registered and help get them signed up to bid. You will be working with a database system to do this. After check-in slows down you will assist in checking out our guests from the silent auction.
- Raffle Board Selling: You will work as a team to sell squares on our raffle board. The board will work just like football squares.
- 50/50 Ticket Sellers: You will be moving through the crowd to sell 50/50 tickets throughout the event.
- Silent Auction Table Monitoring: You will be helping keep an eye on our silent auction items during the event, as well as assisting guests with online bidding as needed.
- Fund-A-Need Recorder: Helping assist the CAN Council Staff in recording donations that are made to our Fund-A-Need during the live auction
- Live Auction Spotter & Celebraters: Helping assist bids being made during the live auction and celebrating them as they win!
Don’t worry! If you do not have experience, we will have training on the day of the event to help you out. This training will take place after volunteer check-in on the day of Dine & Unwind.
