The purpose of this position is to assist the Facilities Supervisor with shelter upkeep, maintenance issues, and special projects around the shelter.
Key Responsibilities:
- General Cleaning
- Groundskeeping
- Assist with preventative maintenance issues
- Organization of facilities room
- Special cleaning projects
- Other duties as assigned
Time Commiment:
Volunteers can schedule for weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis. Shifts can be scheduled M-F 9am-3pm or on weekends as arranged with staff.
Dress Code:
We ask that volunteers wear clothing that provides modest coverage. Close-toed shoes are required, for safety and hygiene reasons.
Important Information:
- People between the ages of 15 and 18 are welcome to volunteer with a parent or guardian.
- Interested applicants must complete an EVE Volunteer Application found at EVE Application
- The volunteer must pass a criminal background check
- Due to confidentiality, the exact location will be provided to chosen volunteer
- Some training may be required prior to starting this position
