Volunteers are needed for the 38th Annual Meals on Wheels Charity Golf Outing!
Do you like golf? Do you like people? Do you love volunteering outdoors on a beautiful morning for a good cause? Your help is needed!
Date: Wednesday, June 17, 2026
Event Time: 9:00am- approximately 2:30pm (Volunteering begins around 7:45am/8am)
Location: Forest Akers West, 3535 Forest Road Lansing, MI 48910
We have several fun roles available to help the day run smoothly. If you would like to help out throughout the entire event, feel free to sign-up for multiple slots.
Roles (times are approx. and depend on golfers’ pace of play)
- Games Sales (8:00am-9:00am) – Sell Skins and Mulligans at the gaming table along with other games we might have for sale. (6 Needed)
- Sponsor Liaisons (8:30am-3:00pm) – Check in on sponsors at their tables on the course, deliver water bottles/snacks, provide breaks as needed, and assist sponsors as they leave the green at the end of the event. (2 Needed) (Golf carts may be used. Have fun!)
- Water Station Volunteers (8:30am-2:30pm) – Hang out at one of two designated water stations on the course with coolers – provide water to golfers. (1 Needed)
