tate of Michigan Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity employees will come together the week of Sept. 8 in service to Michigan communities to honor the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance. In partnership with Habitat for Humanity Michigan, the Michigan Community Service Commission has organized project sites across the state for employees to volunteer. Employees are encouraged to utilize their eight hours of volunteer leave.

- 6 volunteers per shift on 9/11
- Shifts are 9:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
- Volunteers are required to wear closed toe-shoes and should bring gloves.
