Join us for our Brilliant Fitzgerald Back-to-School event to celebrate everything our Brilliant kids have accomplished over the summer and to build excitement for the new school year ahead!
Our Brilliant summer programming is designed to combat the “summer slide”—a time when kids can lose academic progress during the school break. Through free programming and year-round support, Brilliant Detroit helps children stay engaged in learning, no matter the season.
This celebration is all about bringing the community together for a fun-filled day with games, hands-on activities, delicious food, and access to valuable community resources. Volunteers will play a key role in creating a warm and energetic atmosphere by assisting with event set-up, registration, activity management, food distribution, and post-event clean-up. Volunteer shifts include: 10 a.m. - noon, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., noon - 2 p.m., 1-3 p.m.
