MLK Day Fellowship Luncheon- Volunteers Needed

The MLK Day Fellowship Luncheon will directly address the pressing issue of food insecurity
while promoting volunteerism, particularly among youth. By engaging volunteers, we will
provide hands-on opportunities for participants to contribute to their community in a meaningful
way. Volunteers will be involved in all aspects of the event, from planning to meal preparation,
ensuring that they gain leadership experience and a deeper understanding of community needs.
Our youth volunteers will also have the opportunity to reflect on Dr. King's legacy through
discussion and service, reinforcing his commitment to justice, equity, and inclusion. We
anticipate that this experience will inspire them to pursue further community service initiatives
and make a lasting impact in their neighborhoods.
