Who We Are
After the Storm is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping Michigan communities recover from disasters. Our team is often made up of local residents who have personally experienced similar challenges, ensuring a compassionate and understanding approach to recovery. Established by the Michigan Conference of The United Methodist Church, we have assisted hundreds of families on the disaster recovery journey. Additionally, we are grateful for the trusted partners from all business sectors we have connected with throughout the state.
What We Do
After the Storm specializes in connecting survivors with resources to rebuild homes, remove debris, and link people with vital resources needed during times of crisis. Using a proven recovery model, we strive to support the unique goals of each community we serve and help them rebuild stronger than before.
