Mission: To provide progressive police services to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all citizens.

The Sterling Heights Police Department is committed to providing high-quality law enforcement services to the community. They focus on crime prevention, maintaining public safety, and building positive relationships with residents.

The Sterling Heights Police Department is in charge of several volunteer groups. Two of these groups are CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) and CP (Citizens Patrol). These groups often help with large scale events in the city, respond to storm damage, power outages and are trained to help during disasters however we are always looking for more training especially with new members.
