Who We Are
Mission: To provide a season of innovative, Broadway quality theatre productions that make audiences smile, laugh and cry, enriching the cultural experience of the community in southeast Michigan.
Meadow Brook Theatre is a 501c3 non-profit organization and was founded in 1966. For over 50 years MBT has delivered Broadway quality theatre to audiences from the campus of Oakland University.
What We Do
MBT has brought many premieres to Michigan, including the 2017/2018 season with the world premiere of Johnny Manhattan and the world premiere of FANCY: A New Country Musical in our 2021/2022 season.
Meadow Brook Theatre shares art with the community by providing tickets for numerous local and national organizations. The Children’s Series as well as school performances of regular productions keep kids engaging with the arts.
