Who We Are

Mission: To offer kids grades sixth through twelve with after-school and summer programs to expand their knowledge and help them feel safe and welcomed in any and every environment.

The Armory Youth Project is a nonprofit organization based in Manistee, Michigan, dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment where young people can grow, learn, and thrive. The project aims to help youth develop life skills, build strong relationships, and engage in positive activities that promote their overall well-being and future success.

What We Do

The Armory Youth Project offers a wide range of services designed to support the educational, emotional, and social development of local youth. Their after-school programs provide tutoring, mentorship, and access to academic support for students of all ages. In addition to academic assistance, the project offers recreational activities, arts and music programs, and leadership development workshops that help build confidence and life skills. The Armory also connects youth with caring mentors who provide guidance and encouragement in a positive, supportive setting. Through these services, the Armory Youth Project empowers young people to make healthy life choices and pursue their goals in a safe and supportive community environment.
