Who We Are
Mission: To support and empower foster families by providing resources, guidance, and advocacy to ensure the well-being of children in care.
The Foster Families Navigation and Resource Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting foster families and children in need of care. By providing resources, guidance, and advocacy, the center helps families navigate the complexities of foster care, ensuring they have the tools and support to offer safe, loving homes. The organization works closely with social services, community partners, and foster families to improve outcomes for children in foster care and ensure they thrive in a stable and nurturing environment.
What We Do
Services provided by Foster Families NRC:
- Support and guidance for foster families navigating the foster care system
- Training and educational resources for foster parents
- Advocacy for foster children’s rights and needs
- Referral services for additional community resources, such as healthcare and counseling
- Emergency support for foster families in crisis
- Connection with local support groups and peer networks for foster families
