Role Description
As a Youth Advocate – Online Safety, you’ll support DEFEND’s mission by engaging in activities to promote awareness and education about online safety. This is a unique opportunity for young changemakers to make a difference while developing valuable skills.
Responsibilities
Assist in creating and sharing online safety educational materials (e.g., blogs, social media posts, presentations).
Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions to develop outreach strategies targeting young audiences.
Collaborate with team members to support digital campaigns and community engagement projects.
Promote DEFEND's initiatives within your school or community to raise awareness.
Provide insights from a youth perspective to improve DEFEND's programs.
Qualifications
Aged 13–17 (Parental/guardian consent required).
Passion for online safety and protecting vulnerable people.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Basic understanding of social media platforms and online trends.
Willingness to collaborate with a diverse team of volunteers.
Creative mindset and enthusiasm to contribute ideas.
