Brilliant Cities is a neighborhood-powered model ensuring children 0-8 are school-ready, healthy, and supported. We do this by transforming houses into community hubs where children and families have what they need to thrive. We currently operate 16 hubs across 24 neighborhoods in Detroit and 1 in Pontiac, where families with young children come for programs in education, health, and family support, and to build community with one another to receive love, safety, growth, and fellowship.
We’re currently looking for community members to help share the amazing work happening at Brilliant Detroit by hanging and passing out flyers in the neighborhood. Your support helps connect families to free programs, resources, and events that strengthen our community.
What Community Outreach Can Look Like:
- Spending time with Brilliant Detroit staff printing and preparing flyers
- Posting flyers at local businesses, schools, churches, and community centers
- Distribute promotional materials about resources provided by Brilliant Detroit throughout the neighborhood
- Inviting friends, neighbors, and others to get involved
