Otsego United Way Day of Caring 9/11 project

Join the Otsego County United Way's Day of Caring project on 9/8/23.  Contact Kimberly Akin at

Volunteers have the opportunity to serve at various project sites:

1. Discovery Center- Painting in area of the center.
2. Women's Resource Center- Small repair jobs in the shelter.
3. Power Book Bags- Filling book bags for Otsego County children.
4. Foster Closet- Sorting and inventory of items in the closet.
5. Otsego County Community Garden- Yardwork and landscaping in the garden.
6. Headwater Land Conservancy- Building ramps and walks.
7. Caring Closet- changing over to winter clothing.
8. Otsego Library- Organizing & cleaning projects.

 9. Gaylord Long Term Recovery- Tree planting for tornado survivors
