Description

Volunteers will spend the morning cleaning up brush and shoreline debris and grooming planting areas at Riverbend West, a site that the Saginaw Bay Land Conservancy is working on transforming for their opening to the public in June! 

  • Parking is available at Defoe Park across the street on Marquette Ave. where you be provided materials. 
  • You may bring your own PPE if you prefer, but it will also be provided.
  • Please complete the attached waiver in advance and email to nicole@unitedwaybaycounty.org or bring a copy with you to the registration table.
  • You must register before April 1st to receive a shirt. Extra will be available at registration, but sizes will not be guaranteed.
  • If you know that you are unable to stay for lunch, please indicate so in the ‘notes’ section.
  • COVID-19 protocols will be followed at all sites in accordance with each organizations policy. Masks and hand sanitizer will be available for volunteers.
