Heart to Heart Hospice of Southgate coordinates 6 monthly Vet to Vet Cafe's in our service area. We are looking for several veterans to come share their stories, be companions, talk about benefits, talk about up and coming trends, and be a support to our aging veterans. We meet at local senior living and assisted living communities in Brownstown, Belleville, Carleton, Dearborn, Riverview, and Monroe once a month for an hour. We look forward to having you join us!

Heart to Heart Hospice is looking for end of life companions in the Grosse Ile area. Your role is simply to be a good friend until the end. Local patients are looking for extended support through conversation, reading, games, watching television, crosswords and more. The time commitment is about an hour a week to 3 hours per month. We are looking for people who want to help enrich patient's lives through extra support as a volunteer companion.

Heart to Heart Hospice is looking for several volunteers to share their time and talent. Hospice volunteers are an excellent resource for caregiver relief, companionship, and emotional support. Our volunteers spend a minimum 1-3 hours per month with their assigned patient and family. Volunteers often play cards, do crafts, watch tv, read to patients, play music, hold a hand, or simply provide a listening ear.
