Help Hidden Harvest in collecting food donations during the Junior League Festival of Trees event at the Great Hall Banquet and Convention Center.

Two people are needed per shift that can assist in loading the donated food items in to the back of the Hidden Harvest truck. This food will then be distributed to food banks and meal sites in our area.

Additionally, if people would like to support the food drive, but did not bring food to donate, there will be a QR code that the volunteers can direct them to help support.  Volunteers will need to get in touch with Samantha Mackenzie - Hidden Harvest President and CEO, at the beginning of their shift to get access to the truck. The YMCA is looking for volunteers to help a staff member deliver food boxes to senior, and disabled Bay County residents in need of food.

Volunteer Opportunity: Needed on Tuesday and Fridays

The Smith Food Pantry is looking for volunteers to help distribute food on their giveaway days. 

Every Monday and Wednesday from 10 AM - 12 PM.

Help the Bay County Department on Aging deliver food commodity boxes to senior citizens homes.

Help is needed every other month - January, March, May, July, September, November.

Volunteers are needed to help with Safe Harbors Mass Food Giveaway every Tuesday from 8 AM - 12 PM.

The Salvation Army of Bay City could use assistance with lunch help Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.

It is best to have interested volunteers check in with the volunteer director as the needs fluctuate with group volunteers that do things quarterly. 

The Salvation Army of Bay City could use help Monday through Friday with their pantry and coats from 9:30 am to 3:00 pm.
