Who We Are

Mission: To eliminate racism, empower women, and promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.

The YWCA West Central Michigan is a nonprofit organization that operates on two fronts: serving individuals and families along with systems change. We serve individuals—primarily women and children—in West Michigan who experience intimate partner violence and sexual assault.

With a strong commitment to advocating for gender equality, racial justice, and economic empowerment, the YWCA offers a range of programs and services that support women and families in the region. Their initiatives focus on providing safe spaces, education, and resources to help individuals overcome barriers and achieve personal and professional success. The YWCA works to create a community where all people can thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances.
