Community Housing Network is a nonprofit organization committed to helping Metro Detroiters build thriving communities and overcome homelessness and housing instability.
We envision a future where everyone can achieve stability, dignity, and opportunity. We will create thriving communities with affordable homes, connect individuals and families to essential resources, and foster a supportive workplace for our employees. As an organization, we are driven by the values of Inclusion, Integrity, Innovation, and Passion.
What We Do
The Community Housing Network offers:
- Rental assistance programs to help individuals and families secure affordable housing.
- Permanent supportive housing for individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, or those who have experienced chronic homelessness.
- Homelessness prevention services, including eviction assistance and emergency housing support.
- Housing navigation services to connect clients with appropriate housing resources and opportunities.
- Housing counseling and financial literacy education to help clients maintain housing stability.
- Advocacy and policy efforts aimed at increasing affordable housing availability and addressing systemic barriers to housing access.
- Collaboration with local agencies, landlords, and community partners to improve housing outcomes.
