Who We Are
Mission: To foster self-sufficiency, promote community beautification, and rekindle hope within our neighborhoods through education and outreach.
We 3 Queens (Mary C. Lynn) Memorial Botanical Garden was founded to honor the memory of Mary Carol Lynn, a beloved mother whose passion for gardening left a lasting imprint. After her passing in 2008, her love for family, kindness, and community continued to inspire, leading to the creation of a botanical garden in the heart of the Nolan community.
More than a place of beauty, this garden is a living tribute—a space for families to gather, for children to learn, and for neighbors to connect. It transforms forgotten areas into vibrant, peaceful oases, fostering appreciation for nature while also serving as a vital educational resource.
What We Do
Our community garden aims to beautify our surroundings, to turn forgotten corners into oases of peace and enjoyment for families. It is a place where laughter and solace can coexist, where children can learn to appreciate the wonders of nature, and where adults can find respite from the chaos of daily life. But this garden is more than just a place of solace and beauty. It is a classroom where we teach our people about growing their own food, nurturing food sovereignty, and preserving the precious art of seed saving and harvesting. It is a source of empowerment, fostering self-sufficiency and sustainability.
