You choose how you’d like give back. Between the three programs, volunteer opportunities are available to accommodate schedules, location preferences and mobility restrictions. You can serve daily, weekly, monthly or as-needed.
How you serve depends on your own interests and availability.
Foster Grandparents: Shape a child’s life as a mentor or tutor. Help students develop literacy and math skills and be a positive adult role model. Volunteers serve 15-40 hours a week in a local school or daycare classroom.
RSVP: Use your skills and abilities in a volunteer role that aligns with your interests. Volunteers serve at organizations across Kent County or remotely. Flexible schedules, remote service and one-time opportunities are available.
Senior Companions: Provide assistance and friendship to older adults and provide respite for family caregivers. Volunteers serve 15-40 hours a week at in-home placements.
