Who We Are

Mission: To put God’s love into action by bringing people together to build homes, community and hope in Emmet and Charlevoix Counties of Michigan.

Northwest Michigan Habitat for Humanity, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, serving Emmet and Charlevoix Counties. Since 1990, we have been dedicated to ensuring all residents have a safe place to call home by constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes, advocating for fair and just housing policies, and providing training and resources to help families improve their living conditions.

What We Do

Reduce, Recycle, Reuse, and ReStore Northwest Michigan Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore recycles and sells overstocked, discontinued, new, used, and donated building materials, household furniture and furnishings, tools, appliances, antiques, collectibles, and more!
