Mission: To empower and support children and families in reaching their full potential and becoming self-sufficient, saving lives and creating futures through education and shelter services.
Saginaw County Youth Protection Council is a nonprofit organization committed to promoting the safety, well-being, and development of children and adolescents in Saginaw County. They work to prevent youth involvement in risky behaviors and provide support to help young people thrive in their personal and academic lives.
What We Do
The Saginaw County Youth Protection Council offers a variety of services aimed at youth development and prevention of delinquent behaviors. They provide educational programs focused on substance abuse prevention, bullying, and mental health awareness. The organization also offers mentorship programs, counseling, and family support services to help youth develop life skills and build strong support systems. Additionally, they collaborate with schools, parents, and other local organizations to create a safe and nurturing environment for children and teens in the community. Their efforts focus on addressing issues such as truancy, neglect, and other challenges that may hinder a child’s ability to succeed.
